In conjunction with the live Webcast Academy webcast sessions, this web based training module will provide an introduction to the core skills required to set up, facilitate, record and post a multi-person telephony call as a recorded webcast. Within this module, you will have the opportunity to perform the following core webcasting competencies:
- Set up and facilitate a telephony based conference call,
- Prepare an audio recording of the conference call,
- Post the audio recording onto a website as a recorded webcast (or podcast).
Lesson Objectives: At the conclusion of this module, you will have the opportunity to try the presented webcasting skills. Exercises will assess your ability to utilize all of the core skills and technologies covered in this module. After completing the reading and other activities in this lesson, you will be assessed on your ability to perform the following core webcasting competencies:
- Conference: Set up and facilitate a telephony conference call with two or more people.
- Record: Record the audio from the telephony conference of two or more people.
- Post: Post an MP3 audio recording of a telephony conference of two or more people on the Webcast Academy web site as a recorded webcast (or podcast).
